The Live TV Channel Guide on your TCL Roku TV may show both antenna channels and free streaming channels in the same guide. If you only want to see your antenna channels, you can hide the streaming channels from the guide.
Note: Menu names and available options may vary slightly depending on your Roku TV model, region, and software version.
How to Hide All Streaming Channels from the Live TV Guide
- Press the Home button on your Roku TV remote.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Select TV inputs.
- Select Live TV.
- Select Hide streaming TV channels.
- Check the box next to Hide all.
Once this option is selected, streaming channels will be removed from the Live TV Channel Guide. Your antenna channels should still appear if your antenna is connected and a channel scan has been completed.
How to Show Streaming Channels Again
If you want to add the streaming channels back to the Live TV Guide later:
- Press the Home button on your Roku TV remote.
- Go to Settings.
- Select TV inputs.
- Select Live TV.
- Select Hide streaming TV channels.
- Uncheck Hide all.
The streaming channels should appear in the Live TV Channel Guide again.
How to Hide Individual Channels from the Guide
If you only want to hide certain channels instead of hiding all streaming channels:
- Open the Live TV Channel Guide.
- Highlight the channel you want to hide.
- Press the Star/Options (*) button on your Roku remote.
- Select Manage channels.
- Select Manage channel lineup.
- Press OK to check the box next to any channel you want to hide.
If You Still See Streaming Channels
If streaming channels still appear after turning on Hide all, try the following:
- Restart your Roku TV by going to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart.
- Reopen the Live TV Channel Guide and check again.
- Confirm that Hide All is still selected under Settings > TV inputs > Live TV > Hide streaming TV channels.
- Make sure your Roku TV is connected to the internet and check for a software update by going to Settings > System > Software update > Check now.
Important Notes
Hiding streaming channels from the Live TV Channel Guide does not remove installed apps from your Roku TV Home screen.
This setting only changes what appears inside the Live TV Channel Guide.
If you use an antenna, make sure the antenna is connected and that a channel scan has been completed so your local channels can appear in the guide.
