The Alto 9+ or TS9030 sound bar is designed to perform an OTA (over-the-air) software update. In order for the OTA to work, the Alto 9+ sound bar needs to be connected to your Wi-Fi network. When a software update is available, you will see a notification on the sound bar. The LED Display will show <NEW S/W OK/NOT>. Press the Play/Pause/OK button on the sound bar remote to initiate the installation of the new software. Once completed, your sound bar will restart.

How to connect your sound bar to the Internet
- Power on the sound bar.
- On your mobile device, open the Google Home app. Note: You can download and install the Google Home app from the Google PlayStore or Apple AppStore
- NOTES:
- For first time Google Home app users, you would be prompted to select an existing Google account or enter another Google account.
- It is important that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the TCL Alto 9+ sound bar is connected to.
- NOTES:
- Tap the Add icon + on the upper left corner of the app
- Select Setup new device > New device > follow the in-app steps.
- Be sure to complete and do not cancel until you see the confirmation that your speaker is ready.
- Once you have successfully linked your Alto 9+ (TS9030 ATMOS SB) and if a software update is available, you will also see "UPDATING TS9030 ATMOS SB". This will update the sound bar to the latest software.
