With the launch of TCL’s new 6-Series featuring Google TV, some users reported concerns about the stability of select streaming services. At TCL, we are committed to delivering premium products with world-class customer experience and therefore, with a new software update released to 6-Series TVs featuring Google TV in the week of September 12, 2021, the performance of this model now better reflects the excellent experience our customers are used to. In many cases, you can program your cable, satellite or universal remote to control certain functions of your TCL Android TV. Click here to view and download remote codes for TCL Android TVs. Look for your provider and the corresponding remote code, and use the instructions from your service provider to program your cable and satellite remote.
These codes come from the TV remote cable providers. TCL must rely on these companies to provide their codes. If your code is not listed here please contact your provider.
Note: Not all buttons on your TCL Android TV remote can be programmed to the buttons on your cable or satellite remote. The level of button support for specific remotes is listed below:
